QCD Career Story: Dinah West
Meet Dinah West, currently thriving as the Assistant Manager, Customer Service at QCD’s headquarters in Frisco, Texas. Since starting in November 2019, Dinah has rapidly climbed the ranks, demonstrating the dynamic career paths available at QCD.
Initially seeking part-time work while her daughter was in preschool, Dinah joined QCD as a Customer Service Representative, coinciding with the opening of the Frisco headquarters. Captivated by a news story about QCD’s new presence in Frisco, she felt compelled to explore the opportunities it offered. With a strong background in hospitality and customer service, Dinah recognized the prospect of integrating these elements into QCD’s operations.
Within a year, Dinah earned a promotion to Senior Customer Service Representative. By the end of 2020, she advanced to Customer Service Supervisor, followed by another promotion to Senior Customer Service Supervisor. Most recently, she stepped up into the role of Assistant Manager, Customer Service.
Several factors have anchored Dinah’s noteworthy career advancement at QCD. She holds a deep respect for the leadership team, feeling valued and heard—a crucial factor in her job satisfaction. Witnessing and contributing to the company's growth over the years has instilled a sense of pride and commitment to her role. Moreover, QCD's flexibility and support have allowed her to maintain an optimal work-life balance, especially significant when she returned to work after welcoming her son in 2021.
