QCD Orlando, Spokane, Salt Lake City, and Boston Earn Quarterly Starbucks Recognitions


In mid-May, Starbucks announced its second quarter (January through March 2020) Service Efficiency Scorecard winners, recognizing the distribution centers among Starbucks' 34 U.S. territories that deliver consistent and balanced results. QCD Salt Lake City earned top honors for the quarter in the "Short/Tall" category for Starbucks' smaller distribution territories, while Boston achieved "Most Improved" distribution center quarter-over-quarter.


Earlier this year, QCD Spokane earned the first quarter (October through December 2019) award in the "Short/Tall" category for Starbucks' smaller distribution territories. Among Starbucks' largest distribution territories, QCD Orlando achieved top honors in the "Grande/Venti" category for the first quarter. Spokane has won the quarterly customer award eight times, and Orlando, Salt Lake City and Boston are all first-time winners.

Other notable second quarter results include:

  • QCD Salt Lake City ranked at the top of this quarter's service scores with 100% for Cold Chain Compliance, Line Fill and On-Time Deliveries.

  • QCD Las Vegas ranked second for Service Efficiency Scorecard, with 100% for Cold Chain Compliance and On-Time Deliveries.

  • QCD San Antonio ranked third for Service Efficiency Scorecard and first among this quarter's efficiency scores, with 100% for Line Fill and On-Time Deliveries.

  • QCD Spokane ranked fourth for Service Efficiency Scorecard, with 100% for Line Fill and On-Time Deliveries.

  • QCD Honolulu scored 100% for Cold Chain Compliance and On-Time Deliveries.

  • QCD Minneapolis scored 100% for Line Fill and On-Time Deliveries.

  • QCD Albuquerque, Boston, Chicago, Fontana, Kansas City, Portland, Seattle, and Washington, D.C. all scored 100% for Line Fill.



Additionally, notable first quarter results include:

  • QCD Spokane ranked at the top of the first quarter's Service Efficiency Scorecard, with 100% for Line Fill and On-Time Deliveries.

  • QCD Salt Lake City ranked at the top of the first quarter's service scores and second for Service Efficiency Scorecard, with 100% for Cold Chain Compliance, Line Fill and On-Time Deliveries.

  • QCD Orlando ranked at the top of the first quarter's efficiency scores, with 100% for Line Fill.

  • QCD Las Vegas ranked third for Service Efficiency Scorecard, with 100% for Cold Chain Compliance and On-Time Deliveries.

  • QCD Honolulu scored 100% for Cold Chain Compliance and On-Time Deliveries.

  • QCD Seattle scored 100% for Cold Chain Compliance and Line Fill.

  • QCD San Antonio scored 100% for On-Time Deliveries.
