QCD Phoenix Receives 2024 Champions of Sustainability Award from Salt River Project

Recently, water and energy provider Salt River Project (SRP) presented the QCD Phoenix distribution center with the 2024 Champions of Sustainability Award for raising the bar on environmental stewardship in the Phoenix metropolitan area. QCD leveraged SRP rebates to enhance the Phoenix facility with electric forklift chargers and 10 electric transport refrigeration units, underscoring their commitment to sustainability in logistics and energy efficiency.

“This recognition is a testament to our strong partnership with SRP and our commitment to sustainable practices that advance energy efficiency within our operation,” said Matt Cheviron, General Manager, QCD Phoenix. “To contribute to QCD’s overall sustainability goals, we continue to seek ways to integrate better practices into our logistics and transportation processes to benefit our customers, communities, and industry.”
