Starbucks Honors QCD Salt Lake City with Second Consecutive Siren Award
For the second consecutive year, QCD Salt Lake City has earned Starbucks’ annual Siren Award for its consistent and balanced results in service and efficiency. Recognizing the top-scoring distribution centers among its 34 U.S. territories, Starbucks announced the 2021 annual award and the fourth quarter (July through September 2021) winners, including Salt Lake City. Based on its Service Efficiency Scorecard results, QCD’s Utah facility team earned top honors in the "Short/Tall" category for Starbucks' smaller distribution territories.
“With their back-to-back Siren Award recognitions, there’s no doubt that the Salt Lake City team consistently delivers the best service to our customer," said Brande Bond, Vice President, Customer Service and Development, QCD. "In just three short years since opening, our Utah distribution team has quickly made a positive impact, maintaining the highest standards of service and efficiency for Starbucks.”
Over the past seven years, QCD facilities have achieved the highest scores to qualify for the Siren Award and quarterly Starbucks recognitions. In addition to Salt Lake City’s Siren Awards in 2021 and 2020, Starbucks honored QCD Orlando with the 2020 Siren Award in the “Grande/Venti” category. QCD Spokane earned the 2019 Siren Award, while QCD Seattle achieved Starbucks’ top annual honor in 2018, 2017, 2016, and 2015.
