Starbucks Recognizes QCD Salt Lake City with Quarterly Service Efficiency Award
The QCD Salt Lake City team received recognition this month from Starbucks for the facility’s strong customer support during the first quarter (October through December of 2022). Maintaining the highest standards of service and efficiency, the Salt Lake City distribution center achieved the top performance in the "Short/Tall" category for Starbucks' smaller distribution territories, while QCD Washington, D.C. earned most improved since last quarter for its results.
“We’re so proud of the continued excellence that Salt Lake City consistently demonstrates with each quarterly score card, as well as the great progress that our Washington, D.C. team has made in recent months,” said Brande Bond, Group Vice President, Customer Service and Development. “As all QCD teams strive to maintain the highest levels of service for Starbucks, we appreciate the leading example that Salt Lake City provides in delivering the difference for our customers.”
Starbucks’ quarterly Service Efficiency Scorecard results recognize the distribution centers among Starbucks' 34 U.S. territories that deliver consistent and balanced last-mile delivery services. Since 2015, QCD has earned more than 30 quarterly recognitions and 10 annual Siren Awards from Starbucks. Over the past two years, the customer has honored Salt Lake City with its annual Siren Award for consistently maintaining the highest quarterly scores in its category.
