Women in the Warehouse: Fallon Martin
February 2021
Each quarter, GSF features a woman leader within the GSF family of companies, sharing her journey, insights and what it takes to succeed in this industry.
“There is not a single job in the warehouse a woman cannot succeed in.”
After spending time working in retail, Fallon Martin shifted her career to the warehouse industry. With several years of experience and hard work under her belt, she landed a role as the Operations Clerk at QCD Minneapolis. Every day, Fallon looks forward to going to work.
“I enjoy that I have a sense of freedom, and I am trusted to get the job done correctly. I enjoy that there is an open door for all associates. All supervisors and my GM have always been open to new ideas. Every voice is heard here.”
Fallon continues to develop her skills and grow in her position, as the Minneapolis distribution center supports quick service restaurants across six Midwest states. Just one year after the opening of the newly built QCD facility, Fallon and the Minneapolis team have successfully expanded operations to add a new customer and maintained a safety record of over 300 days injury-free.
“The advice I have for other women interested in this industry would be to always stay true to yourself and your goals,” she shares. “Keep an open mind and never be afraid of your own power. But most importantly try to have fun and be safe!”
